The internationally renowned architect Hans Kollhoff has executed a wide range of contruction projects not only in Germany, but throughout Europe. The Daimler Benz Highrise A1 on the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin represents a high point of his career. He manages his architectural firm in Berlin together with his partner Helga Timmermann.
All windows and doors for the classicist Kollhoff villa were fabricated in oak. The doors are a two-part KORN design. The exterior door is a single glazed unit and the interior unit is fitted with security glazing and hardware. Wooden rollshades are mounted between both units that offer sun screening as well as additional security.
