CORNELIUS KORN GMBH RELIES ON HARDWARE TECHNOLOGY FROM SIEGENIA
Exclusive villas and highly demanding projects are the speciality of Cornelius Korn GmbH. As a specialist for selected premium solutions and inventor of innovative window systems, the company from Wedel (near Hamburg) has a leading position. KORN also sets standards when it comes to burglar resistance: The KORN LIGNUM SECURE product line has passed the tests for RC3 and RC4 in accordance with DIN 1627-30 in a certified test institute. For this, the high end supplier relied on hardware technology from SIEGENIA. KORN is therefore one of the few suppliers who offer this uncompromising security at the highest level.
From entrance doors and patio doors with turn opening to turn and turn/tilt windows to fixed glazed frames, screw-in sashes and skylights with concealed motors, KORN LIGNUM SECURE allows almost unlimited implementation possibilities for RC4 elements. "Security is an important future market for us. The properties we are commissioned to equip are mostly high-quality villas in exposed locations and therefore require far above-average protection measures. KORN LIGNUM SECURE was realised by us after intensive development work - in conjunction with in-house tests on our own test bench - and meets this high standard. KORN LIGNUM SECURE thus enables us to meet the high demands of our customers with regard to design and ease of use in combination with the RC4 burglary protection class," explains Managing Director Michael Müller.

For the development of the RC4-tested solutions KORN made use of the hardware technology and know-how of the SIEGENIA GROUP. In close dialogue with SIEGENIA's personal contact persons, the components were defined, which laid the foundation for the successful RC4-testing. The cooperation between the two companies over more than 40 years proved its worth.
